The Old Malvernian Lodge No 4363 is a Freemasons’ Lodge for Old Malvernians, Governors, Masters and Officers of Malvern College, present and past, whether already a Freemason or those interested in becoming one. It is part of the Public School Lodges’ Council; a forum for the private lodges of many of England’s great public schools.
Formed in 1921 the Lodge is fast approaching its Centenary.
We welcome enquiries from anyone interested in finding out more about Freemasonry. Also, those who are already Freemasons are warmly welcomed to join us; especially those from PSLC Lodges or Old Malvernians from other Lodges.
Members of the Lodge meet in London three times each year: in January, April and October. For our June meeting we return to Malvern College to celebrate our Freemasonry which gives us the opportunity to support College charities and initiatives.

The Lloyd Trust
Maurice Cecil Johnes Lloyd joined the school in 1913. He was the son of an OM Solicitor who had held a Commission in the Army and re-joined on the outbreak of war in 1914, thereby removing himself from gainful employment and removing his son from Malvern in consequence. The younger Lloyd enjoyed his time at Malvern and years later joined the Lodge so as to enjoy the fellowship of other Old Malvernians on equal terms. He died in 1950 leaving his mother without an heir and so she settled part of her estate on the Lodge to create a charity in memory of her son. The Lodge decided to create a trust which could assist any pupil at Malvern who, for reasons of parental financial difficulty, might be removed from the school. This trust, a registered charity, has helped numerous pupils over the years, not always with their knowledge, and had been regularly re-endowed by members of the Lodge, often as a legacy in their Will. Its object is specifically to prevent the removal of a pupil due to financial distress in the family.
